Board & Train is a way to get a jump start on modifying the behavior of your dog! At the completion of the Board & Train there will be a detailed instructional "take home" lesson (as well as a printed out summary) so that the family is clear on the protocol required to maintain the new behavior and continue the progress toward developing a well behaved, 'Stable K9' family member. Booking follow up Lessons or attending the Exposure Class is highly recommended.

EXPOSURE GROUP CLASS
$40 PER HANDLER/DOG TEAM - DROP IN FORMAT
Location: Angel's Pet World - Hudson, WI
When: Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm (Drop in Format - RSVP Required - see Prereq's)
Prerequisites:
Currently offered to those clients that have done In Home Consult/Board & Train/Lessons so that I am familiar with the handler and have handled the dog
Purpose/Goals:
The focus of this group class is to receive coaching on managing your dog in public settings (loose leash walking, sit stays, down stays, how to lead your dog in the presence of distractions and also on using exposure work and the management of thresholds to work on reactivity to other dogs or people. We will work in Angel's training ring, around the store and will go on pack walks along the river and downtown. We also plan to take field trips to Home Depot and Fleet Farm!
PUPPY GROUP CLASS
$150 PER HANDLER/DOG TEAM - 4 WEEK COURSE
*AGE REQUIREMENT = 5 MONTHS OR LESS*
Location: Angel's Pet World - Hudson, WI
When: Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm (4 week course, contact Brooke for available dates)
Prerequisites:
Contact Brooke to discuss details about puppy, determine if In Home Consult would be beneficial
Purpose/Goals:
Begin as you mean to go! You are training a dog, not a puppy! Learn how to raise a puppy to be a dog that you will enjoy sharing your home and life with. Puppyhood is your greatest opportunity to have an influence on the habits (good or bad) that are going to become a part of the dog's daily patterns. Learn how to avoid unwanted behaviors like destructive tendencies, separation anxiety, reactivity, resource guarding.

Discussion about the current situation with the dog; current unwanted behaviors, goals, past training attempted methods, etc
REACTIVITY EVALUATION
$150
Includes:
Evaulation of the dog's current level of leash control and basic obedience. Evaluation of reaction to neutral demo dog from a distance in order to determine level of reactivity and starting point for behavior rehabilitation. Develop a detailed plan together for how we will address the reactivity of the individual dog.
